| I'll get a cabal started immediately, unless Brio wants to head up the TSW shard of the Book Club. In other news, I love the savage coast. Also, how different are the different faction's story quests? Do they have you essentially doing the same things as one another, or are they completely different? I went to Innsmouth Academy (which is wubba lubba dub dub) and wondered if that was only for Illuminati, or if it was for everyone, but the Illuminati are just mentioned more because they run the town/ school. |

| Yaaaay Brio's our sugar momma! This game is taking control of my life. I invited those two people that messaged me on reddit to the guild and talked to them for like 5 minutes before peacing out to play more tsw. |

| Savage Coast is excellent. it's also where the difficulty starts to ramp up in the game. Have you fought the bogey man yet? I think he's the first real solo boss in the game and is a kind of hint as to what to expect from other solo bosses.
I can start a cabal if you want me to.
Also, most of the faction quests are similar, but vary in flavor. For instance, that horrible horrible illuminati quest - every faction has a quest that takes place in that same setting, but the objective is different. It takes place on templar territory so the templars defend for their quest (making it much easier on them). The dragons engage in some kind of trickery. The illuminati gets the hardest objective, but hey, we're lumies, we can handle it. Plus, we have the best drugs so in the end, the ptsd won't be an issue. |

Totally up to you; I don't mind starting one, I just figured you might want to since you have the most experience in that world of secrets. No, I haven't fought him yet, but I remember seeing images of him and the carnival when I was really wanting to play this game a while back. Sounds like Tokyo is coming out super soon, and Flappy won't be in Agartha anymore once it does. |

| I'm playing on the Savage Coast right now, and I can't imagine you're behind me, QL-wise, since you've played at least as much--or more--than I have.
I definitely didn't do every single quest in Kingsmouth (but I finished all the main story stuff that lead me to SC). I kept telling myself that I'd go back and finish things, but I just kept getting sucked deeper into hell dimensions and dementor-style former teachers at Hogwarts. I love that the one girl student actually calls the place Hogwarts. |

| You can head to Savage Coast just about anytime. I'd try to have QL3ish gear for that at least. You can buy Gear with your sequins from the Venice Merchants that are scattered about.
Flappy is definitely not exciting, but he's all levels so you can go to the raid at any level. Just stand near a healer LOL. And he gives decent exp and some decent loot. I got a full black combat outfit from him. As well as Inky, the filth infected teddy bear, and enough black bullion for a purple weapon so yeah, worth the 15 minutes or so spent dying repeatedly to his one-hit AoEs
What's John's nickname so I can add him to my friends list? Also, sure, i'll make a Cabal. I was so sick yesterday I could barely sit up so I didn't play anything. Hopefully today is better.

| I just made it. But you can take over leadership if you so desire.
Also, is loot instanced? I'm always afraid of taking other people's loot. |

| Loot is instanced when you're solo, when you're grouped, you can set it how you want it. |

| This just makes me want to read Lovecraft so hard.
Did any of you ever play Bethesda's Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth? That game was so well done, and so underrated. It was also insanely difficult at times, but it absolutely nailed the mood and the ambiance of the mythos. |

| No, I never played it. I feel like I should have though. I've played plenty of pen and paper Call of Cthulhu, Delta Green and De profundis though. |

| I don't even want to hear that "real" books argument. I move around a lot, I can't carry a thousand paper books with me. But my dinkle is a marvel. Gimme digital. |
