I was wondering, does anybody have a preferred party role for group dungeons n stuff?

Healing was a lot more fun than I expected it to be. I've never played a support-y sort of character in an mmo before but considering all of you have either fists or blood magic or assault rifles somebody else could cover that part if they feel so inclined. As much as I liked rubbing myself all over Brio last night I'd imagine somebody with ranged abilities might be more efficient (Though I could toss more ap into better heals)

Also, if anybody was wondering how the mobs fell on their asses a few times that was me cuz Amaka is badass. Unless somebody else was doing it too. In which case we're both badasses.

I'm almost always the crowd-control, buffs/debuffs person in every game. In this one, i'm not really sure of my role, outside of being reasonably DPSey. Mostly I built for solo, since I was abandoned in TSW for so long. I'll fiddle around with my build to see where I can best fit in.

And hey, we're both badasses. We totally buggered machine tyrant last night.

Hah yes! And after having so many problems with it last time. It was a bit ridiculous. The end of Polaris was pretty intense though.

Yeah I played GW2. I had 2 necros, a necro aoe tank and a power hybrid. Necro is a fun class but I have no fucking idea what Anet is doing with that game.

I got really bored with it after a few weeks after being so excited.

Mesmers were fun too.

Yeah mesmers are prolly my favorite class in that game. I played for quite a long time (I have 8 level 80 characters) because it's where all my friends were. But at some point you have to come to terms with the fact that your friends are insane and you have no clue why they're playing a game with nothing but temporary content. Also, I really hated being forced into a heroic role. At least give me a little bit of a grey area.

Also, lore. The GW series actually has some interesting lore, but you'd never know it from playing gw2. They didn't even bother to make lore evident in-game. I thought that was pretty sad.

TSW isn't perfect but I'm willing to overlook nearly anything because it tells me good stories, in an interesting setting, with complex and engaging lore. That's such a rarity in an MMO (and it shouldn't be). In TSW I feel like my character is an actual character, involved in the unfolding events. I love that I don't really know what's going on yet. I enjoy anticipating what comes next. Also, those dungeons are pretty good. I'd definitely like to try more of them.

Yup summed it up perfectly there. That's why I love the elder scrolls so much, on all the previous ones you could really play whatever sort of character you wanted.

No, it's a whole new region. it'll be released in two parts though. I'm so looking forward to continuing my main story. I wonder if any new ranks will be added to the factions. I'd love to see more faction quests.

Yeah I just want a little penguin friend but one that ends up betraying us and peacing out because if it's a regular animal Amaka will just end up forgetting to feed it and that would be sad. She's really not responsible enough for a pet.
