Here you can see two of your guild members and a couple other friends trying (and utterly failing) to keep Cthulhu from awakening. They insisted on combating the forces of Cthulhu on their first play through, despite my trying to sway them toward Yog-Sothoth, even though he's the hardest of the Great Old Ones in the game. "Go big or go home," they said, which I can admire.



So today I'm ordering the Forsaken Lore expansion which was just released and contains Yig, who is even harder than Cthulhu.

My initial plan was to just betray you guys in the end till I realized we were doomed to lose regardless.

Looks like fun! I'm a big fan of Yog-Sothoth myself. Any pics of me playing Warhammer are on my other computer, but if you ever wondered what a ghetto toga party looks like, here ya go:

Yeah, within the first two rounds of the game, Jordan's first character was left dead with her body floating off the coast of Antarctica. A few rounds later, Zach was forced to reckon his dark pact, causing him to turn a ceremonial dagger on John which culminated in an otherworldly beast completely devouring him. At one point, we had almost every gate closed and only one monster left on the board, but within the next couple rounds, we had six new gates and a monster surge, culminating with Cthulhu rising from the depths. Overall, it was a lot of fun.

I'm well familiar with ghetto toga parties, but grade school crafted unicorns bumps it to a whole new level!

We need to go to Antarctica
