So, I haven't read any of the books, and I put off watching the show for way too long, but I finally broke down a couple days ago (mostly due to Community, Brooklyn Nine Nine, and Rick and Morty finishing their seasons) and started at the beginning. Needless to say, I'm now in the middle of the third season and absolutely in lesbians with it. Who else watches this show/ reads the books?

I read the books and watch the show. I enjoy both and think the show has done a great job of capturing the ambience of the books, and the cast is pretty damn good.

Read the books in 2011, then downloaded the first season and have followed it since. Season 2 was rough for me as a book reader, they took a lot of unnecessary diversions and made some awkward changes, cutting out some plot lines that they're now rushing to catch up on. Overall, though, the show is great and the cast is perfect. I've been looking forward to the next episode for a while now. The whole end of this season, really.

I'm re-reading the books now, albeit at a much slower pace than the first time. Just started book 2.

His people all say that he's making great progress and if he keeps it up the book could be out next year.
